We want to wish everyone all the very best for the Festive season.
Our organisation, as well as our social media platforms, have been a huge support to many referees at all levels and we want to thank all of those who have contacted us for support and trusted us with those concerns, no matter how big or small they appear to be.
We will continue to push for positive change and the true cause of supporting all referees not just the ones who can “climb the ladder” or are in a coaching program.
We believe that every referee, no matter what age, race, gender or persuasion should be offered the same opportunities no matter what they look like.
The new year brings an independent investigation that we trust will bring a new era where referees can voice their concerns publicly, without the fear of discrimination and consequences from those in positions of authority.
We want to place on record our sincere thanks to The FA CEO Mark Bullingham and his team for responding to our concerns in such a positive and professional manner.
Please keep trusting us the keep referees concerns in the public eye so everyone inside and outside our game can see how we are treated and identify the impropriety of people in authority that should be challenged when they abuse their positions of power.
Your voice is being heard, even if you don’t feel it is.
Merry Christmas from all at RSUK
